Catastrophia has penned not only a hot, lustful story for us, she's also sprinkled in a bit of mystery. We find out early on as to what has broken Bella so badly, but Edward’s demons are still a bit of a mystery. Like heavy magnets, Bella and Edward are drawn to each other, where words aren’t necessary but forceful thrusting is. But is that enough to heal them both?
Cat takes us on their sizzling hot sex romps…in the office, in the bar and of course, their bedrooms. Their relationship is only defined by one word…”Mine”. Bella seems to be approaching the reality of what is happening between them, but Edward cannot articulate his feelings. Bella seems to know exactly what he needs and is hoping it will be enough to heal him.
As Cat states in her summary, the law firm they work for has a strict non-fraternization policy and since Bella and Edward share an office, this policy forces them to secrecy. However, I somehow think this relieves Edward a bit…since he cannot come to terms with his past just yet. They both seem to fall into a routine at the office…which always includes visits from the “Boob Squad”. This infuriates Bella but Edward has no interest in them, his interest is with Emmett. Yes…enter, Emmett…Bella’s ex. He seems to still have a thing for Bella and Edward hones in on this right away. Emmett does not know about Edward and does not hold back his affections for Bella. I’m just waiting for this to all blow up, it’s gonna be great!
Breach is only 12 chapters in, but Cat’s chapters are long and juicy. This is not a BDSM fic, but be warned that the coupling that occurs is far from romantic or tame. If you can handle the heat, check out this fic, you will not be sorry!

The story summary reads:
“Bella loses her last living relative and falls into a deep depression. She also has an ex-boyfriend whom she can't get away from. Can a gruff contractor named Edward bring her out of the darkness?”
The summary tells us some of what’s going on here but the truth is there, is so much more to this story than this.
Yes, poor Bella has lost all of her living relatives so she decides to make a change in her life and heads back home to Forks. Her smarmy ex-boyfriend cheated on her and this along with the house that was left to her, was the catalyst that made the decision to move that much easier.
Once she arrives she realizes her home is in need of repair and this of course leads us to Edward. I think the line in the summary about Edward bringing her out of the darkness can easily be applied to him as well. Can Bella bring him back into the light?
Edward is a local contractor so upon recommendation, Bella calls him to help her with her repairs and this is the beginning that leads us down the road of their journey.
Edward is a multi-layered character; he has so many things in his past that have made him the hard and cynical man that he is today. His elusive past with Kate, his dread of the local women who throw themselves at him and his need to hide from everyone including his family makes Edward dark, brooding and at times a little mean.
Their attraction is palpable. They have a chemistry that she is afraid to try and reach for and that he is in denial of…for awhile. Honestly it pisses him off that he is attracted to her and truthfully that makes this story a whole lot better. I find that the push and pull in the beginning chapters is what makes Color of Loneliness grab you from the get go.
But let’s not forget the secondary characters….
Her best friend Susie is a hoot. Her dialog alone makes me laugh out loud and sometimes spit my drink out when I least expect it. (The gift basket from chapter 13 comes to mind.) The comic relief she brings, turns this story from angst ridden to totally loveable and readable in the matter of a few lines.
Her new neighbor Alice is best described as a Chihuahua on crack. She is one of the most hyper Alice’s in fanfiction. I think she chugs energy drinks in her spare time and poor Bella is polite but exasperated every time Alice is in the picture.
There is still some mystery behind what happened in Edward’s past and of course there is always the question of what will happen between these two tortured souls. If I know ExquisiteEdward we are still in for some rough times ahead and of course some very good UST. I am looking forward to seeing how Contractorward and Bella find there way in this angtsy, wonderful, sexy, and at times funny tale.

Fan fiction is full of stories with heart-stopping angst or fluffy bits of smut but rarely does an author manage such a wonderful combination of romance, smut and actual storyline as Nolebucgrl has with her QBWard story "First and Ten". Bella is smart and self reliant - all the wonderful modern girl qualities that were sorely lacking in SM's original Bella - while Edward is so perfect he might give the real men in our lives a bit of a complex.
The story is well told and interesting with some wonderful twists along the way. When Bella's best friend Alice starts dating AZ Cardinal's Wide Receiver Jasper Whitlock they insist on introducing her to Jasper's best friend, starting Quarterback Edward Cullen. Edward is nothing like AZ Republic Sports reporter Bella Swan is expecting and the chemistry is off the charts. Their interactions are entertaining and so HOT.
While the main story is wonderful and the lemons are panty destroying (can you say is locker room sex for the win) it is the supporting cast that makes this one of the funniest fics ever published. Esme and Renee are each their own type in inappriate and embarrass their children to no end. Alice, JAsper, Rose and Carlise all add to the story but the absolute star of the show is Emmett. This might be the best Emmett in all of fic-dom. He texts harassing comments to Brett Farve, changes ringtones and sets them off in cringeworthy situations and makes it his purpose to embarrass the rest of the crew whenever humanly possible. All this plus a trio of genitalia named after the Greek Gods - that's right Hercules, Zeus and Chronos are all respresented by Em, Edward and Carlise. These updates should come with a spit take warning to protect monitors everywhere.

Here's the hook that had me from the get go. "So how did such a bitter, broke bitch end up as the sassiest, happiest, and well-fucked trophy wife in the fucking world?"
After reading that sentence, the hook was firmly embedded in me and now I will go wherever Ms. JennaRay takes me with this adorable story. Because who wouldn't want to be Edward Cullen's sassy, happy and well-fucked trophy wife......Me, pick me, please?

Why This Pwns Me:
1. I have a sick obsession with "Hooker Bella" stories.
2. I like a story that is raw and sexy. This one delivers.
3. At times it's disturbing. Bella may be an educated, high class, well paid escort, but she's still a whore who turns tricks for money and Edward isn't the only one she's fucking.
4. It's mysterious. I still don't know the motivations behind the main characters' behaviors. I'm hoping this will be revealed slowly.
5. Rose as a madam! Perfection. This lady (using the term loosely) don't take no shit from nobody.
6. Bella and Edward genuinely like each other. They are becoming friends secondary to their "business relationship." This is no "Pretty Woman" however; Phillip Stuckey never fucked Vivian up the ass to get back at Edward.
This one isn't for everyone but it's smartly written and I'm dying for an update later today! (Updates every Tuesday & Sunday)
