I recognize quite a few of my Forks buddies in that picture...well names...didn't see that much of them in Forks but maybe I left the parties too soon? LOL!

There have been a few covers I've worked on where I haven't read the story, but this was not the case with The Plan. I only wish I had been reading along in real time. I don't know why I wasn't, but I did read it once it completed and loved it. Very unique way of telling the story.
Thought you might be interested how we ended up with alternative covers. It really started when kiTT's direction for the original cover design was to use the Premiere magazine photo (one of the best Rob photos ever) and work in pineapple somehow. If you'd ever like to see my original design to see how things evolved, shoot me or kiTT an email.
At any rate, the one thing that really stuck out in my mind was when he wrote "Everything" on the card. I melted and teared up. As kiTT says, I'm a #sap.
Once she saw my original design, her creativity kicked in, as always. She's is very clever. She reminded me it was March (green/shamrock); she said some people call him Planward and some people call him Bossward, so she sent me the Bossward quote and the "5 Ways To..." blurb. It eventually evolved into the Bossward cover.
I told her I loved it but that I was having a hard time giving up my "Everything" moment.
She emailed me and said, "Why don't we do an alternate cover? What about having one for Bossward AND for Planward? Put Planward in a tux like when they went to see the Nutcracker." The rest, as they say, is history :)
I think it's awesome that all of you have bonded over this story. I have a similar group because of MotU and a bigger group because of a little thing called Twilight, so I can totally relate.
I agree with you by the way. Do we have really have to choose? You just can't have one without the other, right? Right!
